Pilot opens autumn 2026 · 10 Founding Firms

Your clients send a photo.
You get MTD-ready records.

Prooff turns WhatsApp receipt photos from your sole traders and landlords into MTD-ready digital records — coded, confirmed back to the client and stored for seven years with a full audit trail. No app. No login. Nothing for your clients to learn.

Founding-Firm places open autumn 2026
1 — THE CLIENTThey snap the receipt

At the till, at the builders’ merchant, at the petrol pump, in the café — or from the pile in the van at the end of the day. On the app already on their phone. If they can send a photo to the family group chat, they can do this.

2 — PROOFFCaptured, coded, stored

Read in seconds and confirmed back to the client, then kept for seven years with a full audit trail. Amount, date, category — exactly what HMRC’s digital records require — plus the vendor.

3 — THE PRACTICEReview, approve, export

Every client in one dashboard. Anything uncertain waits in a review queue — nothing reaches your records without you.

Founding Firms — ten places, priced for life.

When the pilot opens this autumn, the first ten practices get Prooff at a founding rate locked for life, in exchange for one 10-minute feedback call a week for the first eight weeks — then it’s simply yours, at the founding price, forever. Firm eleven pays full price.

COMMON QUESTIONS
What do my clients need?

WhatsApp and a camera. No app to install, no portal to log into, nothing to learn.

Does Prooff file with HMRC?

No — Prooff prepares the digital records; your existing MTD software files them. Nothing changes in how you submit.

What does it cost?

Full pricing is published when the pilot opens. The first ten practices get the Founding-Firm rate, locked for life.

When does it start?

The pilot opens autumn 2026. Founding Firms are contacted first.

“I’m building Prooff because 864,000 sole traders and landlords just got pulled into Making Tax Digital, and the receipt-in-a-shoebox problem now has quarterly deadlines attached. Practices don’t need another portal their clients won’t open — they need the receipts to arrive on their own.”
